  • How can I apply?
    • Luxury Nagano Travel 3-Day EarthboatWay Special Plan
      This plan includes transportation, accommodation, and activities as a package. Please select and apply for one of the four accommodation areas: Lake Nojiri, Kurohime, Togakushi, or Hakuba. Applications can be submitted here.
    • Nagano 2 Day Trip by Car EarthboatWay Special Plan
      This plan includes accommodation and experience. Please select and apply for one of the four accommodation areas: Lake Nojiri, Kurohime, Togakushi, or Hakuba. Applications can be submitted here.
    • Custom Plan
      Please visit the Earthboat Official Site if you wish to make an accommodation-only reservation or if you wish to make an accommodation-and-dinner reservation. Transportation and activities can be reserved separately from the EarthboatWay website.
  • How many people can apply for the EarthboatWay Special Plan?

    Up to 5 guests may apply. Each trailer house can accommodate up to three adults. If there are 4 or 5 guests, you will need to reserve 2 trailer houses.

  • Where will the taxi for the Luxury Scenery Tour of Nagano pick me up?
    • A taxi can be sent to the following locations in the Tokyo Area: Tokyo Station, Narita Airport, Haneda Airport, and designated locations within Tokyo’s 23 wards.
    • A taxi can be sent to the following locations in the Nagoya Metropolitan Area: Nagoya Station, Central Japan International Airport, and designated locations within Nagoya City.
    • A taxi can be sent to the following locations in the Hokuriku Area: Kanazawa Station, Toyama Station, Toyama Airport, and designated locations within Kanazawa City and Toyama City.
    • A taxi can be sent to the following locations in the Nagano Area: Nagano Station.

  • Can a portion of the course be changed for the Luxury Scenery Tour of Nagano?

    The course can be slightly changed, but it greatly depends on your departure and arrival locations. Please consult with the concierge for more details.

  • What type of car is the taxi?

    The car model is a Toyota Alphard, which can accommodate up to 5 passengers. The car is very spacious and comes equipped with footrests. The car is also equipped with an AC power supply, so you can feel at ease while you use your smartphone and PC. A jumbo-taxi can be arranged if there are six or more passengers. Please consult with the concierge service.

  • Can a taxi be reserved to take me home?

    Direct transportation to Nagano Station as well as pick-up and drop-off services in the Tokyo Area, Nagoya Metropolitan Area, and Hokuriku Area are available. Details about each plan can be checked at “Enjoy the Ride”.

  • Where are the arrival and departure locations for the luxury taxi tour and fermentation cultural experience plan? Can the locations be changed?

    The arrival and departure locations are located inside the Earthboat areas. It may be possible to change your return location. Please consult with the concierge for more details.

  • Is lunch included in the luxury taxi tour and fermentation cultural experience plan?

    This plan does not include lunch. You will have the freedom to enjoy lunch around the Zenkoji Temple area. There are many dining options available, including places where you can try Shinshu soba.

  • Is there a plan that lets me participate with my car during my stay?

    The “Zenkoji Temple, a National Treasure – a Day of Vegetarian Food, Sutra Chanting, and Special Prayers” is a plan where participants may gather before the event directly at the meeting location. Customers with cars may find this plan easy to participate in.

  • Can I request a private taxi during my stay?

    We can create a course that matches the requests of our guests. Please consult with the concierge for more details.

  • Are there any plans that allow pets to participate?

    Pets are allowed to stay with you inside the Earthboat accommodation. However, please refrain from bringing pets with you on the plans.

  • What belongings should I bring?

    Please prepare food/ingredients, drinks, and clothes. Although some amenities will be provided, indoor-clothing, such as pajamas, will not be provided. Please see the Earthboat homepage for more details.

  • What payment methods are available?

    Only credit card payments are available.

  • What are the cancellation fees?
    • EarthboatWay Special Plan / Custom Plan
      A cancellation fee will be charged in accordance with the Standard Travel Agency Terms and Conditions. Please check each plan page for details, as it varies depending on whether an overnight stay was booked or not.
    • Earthboat Overnight Stay
      - Cancellation 2 days prior to reserved date: 50% accommodation price fee
      - Cancellation 1 day prior to reserved date: 80% accommodation price fee
      - Cancellation on reserved date / no-call no-show: 100% accommodation price fee
